This training is for members of local church streamlined or single-board leadership teams. These teams serve as a single group that fulfills the functions of the Staff- or Pastor-Parish Relations Committee, Finance Committee, and Board of Trustees. In this training, you will learn more about your role as a member of the single-board leadership team, which will include committee-specific training for each of these committees whose role you fulfill. You will also receive resources to guide and assist you as you do your work.
Note: This training is intended for those serving on an established single-board leadership team, not for churches who wish to adopt a single-board leadership model. Churches who wish to adopt this model should contact their district superintendent for guidance.
